June A. Mara Founder and CEO Senior Consultant
June Mara founded XL Communications in 1985. She has grown the business from a one-person enterprise to a thriving Human Resource Communications Consulting Firm. In addition to managing and growing XL Communications, June has continued to work directly with clients on a full range of human resources and organizational issues.
June has worked extensively in communicating benefits, compensation, policies and procedures, as well as mergers and acquisitions and strategy development for clients representing a broad range of sizes and industries. Some of the clients June has served include Montefiore Medical Center, Lord & Taylor, Beiersdorf, Toys R Us, Bear Stearns, Time Warner, Bayer Pharmaceuticals, American Express, AvisBudget Group, United Rentals, The Provident Bank and Yale-New Haven Hospital among many others.
Beth E. Marusi Principal and Vice President Senior Consultant
Beth has played a key role at XL since 1993, following several years in corporate human resources and benefits. Beth has a well-deserved reputation for providing exceptional writing and consulting services to such clients as Colgate-Palmolive, Scholastic, Diageo, Webster Bank, GE Capital, ICI Americas, Affinion, Shop Rite, Stanley Works and The New York Times, among others.
Prior to joining XL, Beth developed her skills as a Benefits/HR Generalist and a legal recruiter in New York City.
David Cohen Chief Financial Officer
David joined XL Communications in 1989, after thirteen years managing operations for a graphics distribution company. David is responsible for XL's financial well-being and also heads up our personalized communications function.
David has created personalized enrollment and/or benefit statements for several clients, including Montefiore Medical Center, Scholastic, Dime Bancorp. Atlantic Bank, Lillian Vernon and Bear Stearns.
Gregg M. Feldman Principal Director, Client Development
Since joining XL in 2002, Gregg has successfully helped the firm identify, establish and maintain a broad range of successful client relationships with leading employers including AvisBudget Group, Bright Horizons Family Solutions, Lord & Taylor, News Corporation, Scholastic Inc. and TJX Companies.
Prior to joining XL, Gregg spent several years with Synapse Group Inc, I-traffic and Bernard Hodes Group honing his skills and passion for creating mutually beneficial partnerships throughout the "dot.com" world.
